Today's lab activities is :

Present about O-diagram
Present about Data Flow Diagram
Present about Flow chart

Our group have been commentted on O-diagram because its not looks like context diagram,its more to complexs diagram which we had explain for the whole flow of the system. In Data flow diagram, we need to create what data information flow from system to another system. Lastly, we need to repair our slide then submit to our lecturer for correction purpose.

Second lecture class is about Web Architecture but before that our lecturer had to explain about the differentiate between website and webpages. According to her, Webpages can be categorized by 3 type, which means static,dynamic and active type. Static is more than non interaction concept, dynamic is about having interaction between client and server (server side scripting) while active type is more to client side scripting for example install ActiveX control when client access internet browser. Website is combination of more than 2 webpage. Then, our lecturer focus on the today's important topic Web Architecture. In simple meaning understanding,Web Architecture is data flow from the client to server to database. Then she ask, what the meaning of www? WWW is extend from world wide web. In internet history, it start from someone who want shared file from his computer to another computer. I don't remember the name that my lecturer said. Then, he created an Intranet for the whole building to shared some file(LAN).Then, with high spirit and improvement, he create a WAN connection to shared file with anybody in this world.

Today's post :

Its about price of gold that from year to year increase follow the support and resistance rules. According to the graph, in May 2012, gold are having bearish signal which means price of gold are not consistent and drops at that time until in the middle of August which after Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the gold price became aggreasively increase until today as $ 1775/ oz because of Fed anouncement. Bullish of gold price nowdays make people's who buys gold whether bar or jewellery may gain profit from selling thier gold. Actually, the gold can't make you rich faster but its prevent your money from became cheap. Continue to another post..

Differentiate Between VPS and VPN

VPS (Virtual Private Server)

Virtual private server (VPS) is a term used by Internet hosting services to refer to a virtual machine. The term is used for emphasizing that the virtual machine, although running in software on the same physical computer as other customers' virtual machines, is in many respects functionally equivalent to a separate physical computer, is dedicated to the individual customer's needs, has the privacy of a separate physical computer, and can be configured to run server software.

The terms virtual root server (VRS) and virtual dedicated server (VDS) are also used as synonyms of VPS. However, the latter also occasionally indicates that the server does not use burst/shared RAM through multiple machines and may use individual CPU cores. The termCloud Server is a close concept and designates a virtual private server, where resources allocated are guaranteed, it can usually be reconfigured anytime (upgrade or downgrade) and are paid per usage (not prepaid).

VPN (Virtual Private Network)

A virtual private network (VPN) is a technology for using the Internet or another intermediate network to connect computers to isolated remote computer networks that would otherwise be inaccessible. A VPN provides security so that traffic sent through the VPN connection stays isolated from other computers on the intermediate network. VPNs can connect individual users to a remote network or connect multiple networks together.

For example, users may use a VPN to connect to their work computer terminal from home and access their email, files, images, etc.

Through VPNs, users are able to access resources on remote networks, such as files, printers, databases, or internal websites. VPN remote users get the impression of being directly connected to the central network via a point-to-point link.
